Workspace settings control how Fellow works for everyone in your workspace, including who can join, what gets recorded, how notes are shared, and how long content is kept. To see your workspace settings, click your workspace logo in the top-left corner of Fellow and select Workspace Settings.
Note: some of the settings in this article will be dependent on which Fellow plan that your workspace has (Free, Solo, Team, Business, or Enterprise).
You do not need to know which page a setting lives on. Type a word in the Search box at the top of the panel, and the panel lists every matching setting under the page it belongs to. Each setting saves on its own the moment it changes. There is no Save button at the bottom of a page.
Workspace
General
General covers your workspace's basic details:
Workspace logo: Your logo
Workspace name: This is the name of your workspace. It is editable, so if you have a typo, it can easily be fixed.
Workspace URL: This is the URL by which your team will access Fellow. If you need to change this, please contact [email protected].
Fellow's bot customization: Make the Note Taker look and feel like your brand by editing the image, name, and message.
Emojis: Import or delete custom emojis in Fellow to help create consistency with your branding and internal processes.
Action item completion - Control whether or not users can create action items assigned to "any" [Team, Business, and Enterprise feature]
Users and teams
This is the main area where admins can add, remove, and edit users and guests. You can do this in bulk or one at a time. Get a full walkthrough on how to manage your users here.
Security
Cross-workspace collaboration: Allow users to share and collaborate on meetings with users from other workspaces.
Delegated access: Allows users to grant another user (like an EA or chief of staff) access to their account. This toggle turns the feature on/off for your workspace. [Enterprise plan]
Approved domains: See which domains owned by your organization are linked to your Fellow workspace. People with that domain will be able to log into the workspace. You can choose whether or not to allow self-signup (create a user account via the fellow.app webpage themselves) or if they need to be invited.
Invitations: Choose who is able to invite users and guests to your workspace, and turn self-signup on or off for anyone with an approved domain
Analytics: Decide if the dashboard of how a team is using Fellow's AI features, including recordings, AI notes, Ask Fellow, and AI-generated action items, is available for all users or just the admins. [Business and Enterprise plans]
Authentication
Control how your team signs in and stays signed in. Connect a single sign-on provider, set how long web and mobile sessions last, and require people to re-authenticate after a set period for extra security.
Integrations
Most of Fellow's integrations connect at the individual user level, but a few are workspace-wide. The Workspace tab holds connections made once for everyone, such as user sync and single sign-on, so every member automatically gets that connection. The Users tab controls which integrations people can connect to their own accounts.
Fellow MCP
Enable external MCP Clients to securely access Fellow meeting data using OAuth, and check the tools you want to be available for your team.
Developer
Control who has access to the developer API and Webhooks
Developer API: Enable or disable the developer API for users in your workspace. Check the API keys and the API log.
Webhooks: Enable sending notifications to external services using webhooks when important actions occur in Fellow.
Audit Log
The audit log has a more in-depth view of the activities your members are performing on their accounts. You can view activity at your workspace level or filter for specific members. [Enterprise plan]
The audit log allows you to view and export activity such as:
User logins/logouts
Delegated access grants, removal, logins, and logouts
User invites, creations, updates, activation, deactivations, deletions, and exports
User and workspace integrations being activated or deactivated
Developer API keys being created, deleted, disabled, or enabled
MCP connections being added or removed
Redaction events (sensitive content removed from recordings or transcripts)
Webhook creations, updates, and deletions
Meetings:
Recordings
The master switch for AI features in meetings, along with which recording methods are allowed, the preferred method, disclosure and consent, and transcription options.
AI Features: Turn AI-generated summaries, Ask Fellow, and AI suggestions on or off.
Recording methods: Set your preferred recording method and which recording methods are allowed in your workspace.
Consent and disclosure: Automatically notify meeting attendees that the meeting will be recorded
Transcription: Manage the custom vocabulary, voice matching, and tracker management in your transcripts.
Policies
You can configure preferences for the Note Taker across your workspace. This includes meetings that should or should not be recorded, the default auto-join settings, and pre-meeting disclosure of the Note Taker's attendance. [Enterprise plan feature].
Sharing
Configure who can share meetings, how notes travel by email, public links and their protection, and publishing to channels.
Content & Retention
Allow downloads: Toggle whether members can download recordings and AI notes.
Copy & download disclaimer: Add a custom note to the end of a transcript or set of AI notes whenever either is copied or downloaded. Leave the attendee list empty to apply it to every meeting, or add specific emails to apply it only when one of them is on the call.
Allow redaction: Toggle whether members can remove sensitive content from recordings and transcripts.
Show viewer stats: Let meeting owners see who has viewed the AI notes and clips. Meeting policy rules fall back to this setting when none is set.
Auto-lock meeting notes: Prevent edits to past notes after a set number of days, counted from when the meeting ends.
Content deletion: Choose who can delete agendas, transcripts, AI notes, and recordings: all attendees or admins only. Admins can always delete content, and this setting does not affect auto-deletion.
Retention: Automatically delete recordings, transcripts and AI notes. Deleted content cannot be recovered. [Enterprise plan feature]
Auto-delete recording: Delete the video, audio, and any clips made from a recording after a set number of days. Setting this to zero days deletes each recording as soon as it finishes processing.
Auto-delete transcript: Delete the transcript, including associated speaker labels.
Auto-delete AI Notes: Delete the AI notes and everything else Fellow generated from the recording, including action items. This requires auto-delete recording to be turned on too.
Templates
Workspace agenda template creation: Control who is allowed to create workspace agenda templates
AI note workspace template creation: Control who is allowed to create AI recap workspace templates [Business and Enterprise plan feature]
Default templates: Set the default meeting note templates for your workspace so your agenda structure is pre-populated for all new notes in your workspace.
Channels
Check the channels created in your workspace. Choose which channels every new member joins automatically, and manage who can post to each one and who can view what is shared there. [Business and Enterprise plan]
Features
Meeting guidelines
You can apply best practices across your meetings with the use of meeting guidelines, which is a series of prompts that would appear when booking a new meeting in your calendar. [Enterprise plan]
The meeting guidelines are a feature of the Fellow browser extension, and you, as the administrator, can easily customize any of the 9 meeting guidelines to help boost your team's meeting engagement.
Objective cycles [Legacy Feature]
As part of the Objectives feature, admins can create objective cycles or time periods for objectives to take place. In this area, you can create, view, and edit your objective cycles.
Plans and billing
This section gives you an overview of your current plan, allows you to see past invoices, and update your payment method.
