Every meeting can have its own defaults and preferences. Note series settings let you configure those defaults in one place - so the right templates, automations, and integrations are always in place for each meeting you host.
To access settings, click the three-dot menu > Settings in the top-right corner of the note.
Meeting Details
Meeting details is the place where you can edit the name of the meeting and add the series to your favorites for quick access within your Library.
Automations
Note: These features require a paid subscription (Team plan or higher).
Meeting automations let you schedule actions to happen before or after a meeting, so you can automate key parts of your workflow. Available automations include:
Auto-Record: schedule the Note Taker to automatically record your calls.
Send Recap: select participants to share the meeting recap with after the call.
Share to Fellow Channels: select a channel to automatically upload the meeting recap to.
Recording Disclosure: send an email one hour before the meeting to internal and external invitees without a Fellow account, letting them know the meeting will be recorded.
No Agenda Reminder & Cancellation: automatically cancel a meeting if no agenda has been added.
Pre-meeting Reminders: send reminders to meeting attendees before the call.
Post-meeting Notes: send out the notes automatically after the meeting ends.
Add to Section Reminders: remind specific participants that they need to contribute to a section.
Templates
Set a default AI template and/or Agenda template for the meeting, or review which template is currently in use.
If a template has been saved with incorrect information, you can open settings to review and correct what's included. If the meeting has outgrown its current template, click the 3 dot menu > Browse templates to find or create one that works better.
Carry-forward
Carry-forward automatically moves incomplete action items and talking points to the next instance of the meeting so nothing gets lost.
For both talking points and action items, there are three options:
Always: items are automatically carried forward every time.
Never: items are never carried forward.
Ask me: when a new note is created, a button appears at the top of the note showing the number of incomplete items. Click the Carry forward icon to add them to the new note.
Calendar Events
For 1-on-1s and team meetings, the note in Fellow is linked to a related calendar event. If you have merged notes from more than one calendar event, all associated events will appear here.
Integrations
Note: These features require a paid subscription (Team plan or higher).
You can sync action items from a specific meeting directly to an Asana project, ClickUp space, Trello board, monday.com board or a Linear space. For example, linking a project check-in meeting to a specific Asana project means any action items created in that meeting are automatically synced there.
