If you and your teammates aren't seeing the same note for a meeting, there are a few common causes. Work through the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.
Step 1: Check if they are a calendar event attendee
To view a meeting note in Fellow, a teammate needs to be an attendee on the associated calendar event. Click on the event in your calendar to confirm who has been invited.
If a teammate isn't on the calendar event but still needs access to the note, they can be granted access by sharing the note directly. To do this, open the three-dot menu on the note and select Share series.
Note: Sharing a note this way grants access to all notes within that meeting series, not just a single note.
Step 2: Check that everyone is viewing the note from the Meetings view
It's possible that a duplicate note has been generated for the same calendar event. If someone manually created a separate note, they may be viewing that instead of the note automatically linked to the calendar event - which is what everyone else sees.
To make sure you're viewing the correct note, navigate to the event in your left panel under the Meetings view and open the note from there.
Step 3: Confirm everyone is in the same Fellow workspace
If a teammate is seeing a different note, they may be on a separate Fellow workspace. Fellow links meeting notes to calendar events per workspace, so two people on different workspaces who share the same calendar event will each see their own version of the note.
If this is the case, there are two options. If the teammate has their own Fellow workspace, cross-workspace collaboration lets you collaborate on a shared agenda without merging workspaces. If they aren't a Fellow user at all, you can invite them to your workspace or share the notes with them directly. Learn more about sharing notes here.
Still having trouble?
If you've worked through all three steps and are still running into issues, click the blue chat bubble in the bottom right corner of your screen and the Fellow team will be happy to help.
