You can edit your user settings so Fellow works in the best way for you. Adjust your notifications, personal information, user templates and integrations.
User Settings/My Profile
Set your name, job title, department, profile picture, your manager, and your direct reports. Here you can also see who your workspace administrator is and find your workspace URL.
Preferences
Further customize your Fellow account from the Preferences tab. Here you can update to dark mode, set your preference for the first day of your week, your timezone, excluding specific meeting types and syncing multiple calendars.
On this page, you'll also be able to enable or disable notifications and choose which channel you are notified in (via email, Slack, or MS Teams).
If you are logged in on the desktop app, you will also see options relating to desktop app-specific features such as sound notifications and companion mode.
Note Taker
Select when and how you want to use the Fellow Note Taker. You can now select when you want the Note Taker to join your meetings and to whom you want to send the recaps by toggling your personal preferences.
Select which meetings the Note Taker will join
Your four options for auto-recording your meetings with the Note Taker are:
All meetings: every meeting on your calendar
Meetings that I organize: meetings you have created and are the host of
Meetings that I manually select: you will enable the Note Taker on a per meeting basis
Meetings following my custom rules: configure which meetings you'd like the Note Taker to be invited to based on specific criteria
Configuring automatic emails of AI meeting notes
Your four options for automatically sending AI meeting notes after a meeting has concluded are based on meeting attendees that match specific criteria. These options include:
All meeting invitees: all participants included on the corresponding calendar event
Only invitees from your org: participants on the calendar event who have an email domain owned by your organization regardless if they are in your Fellow workspace or not
Only Fellow users: participants on the calendar event who are also part of your Fellow workspace
No one: no email recaps will be sent
Important note: if users enable the option to always email me AI notes for the meeting, they will receive email recaps from meetings they are part of regardless of your user settings.
Voice Detection
Using this opt-in feature, Fellow can start to store voice samples to easily attribute the correct speaker in meetings where you may be sharing a microphone with another participant (i.e. hybrid and in person meetings).
Memories
The memories feature refers to your conversation history with Ask Fellow. Enabling this allows Fellow to save important preferences and context from your previous conversations with Ask Fellow to improve your experience the more you use the feature.
Quick access in GoogleMeet calls
Gain quick access to use the Fellow Note Taker in your GoogleMeet calls by enabling this setting.
Auto-share recaps to a channel
After a meeting has ended, you can automatically share recaps to channels that have already been created. You can configure this for either:
All external calls: meetings where there is at least one external participant on the calendar invitation
All internal calls: meetings where there are only internal attendees on the calendar invitation
You can choose to enable both of these options, just one, or neither.
Important note: sharing these recaps will automatically grant access to anyone in those channels to view the content. For more information on channels, check out this article!
Pre-meeting briefs
For recurring meetings where the previous instance was recorded with the Fellow Note Taker, you can have Fellow send you a summary of your last meeting with suggested follow ups for the next instance. You can select from 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting up to 3 days beforehand.
Auto-accept AI action items
Enabling auto-accepting action items automatically turns every action item created from an AI recap into a true action item (meaning it will show in your action item list and sync to any connected integrations).
If this is disabled, you will need to manually accept each action item that has been generated to see it in your action item list and integrations (if applicable).
Custom Vocabulary
If your organization uses words or acronyms that don't use the traditional English spelling, you can add these into Fellow to generate more accurate transcripts automatically!
Notification Settings
Fellow has some default settings set for you but you can change these here! Adjust how and when you receive your Fellow Digest, notifications for Upcoming 1-on-1s, Insights, and links to your meeting notes in your Calendar.
Note: you will only see notification settings for Feedback and Objectives if you are on a legacy plan.
