Fellow gives you complete control over your calendar experience. You can sync multiple calendars, exclude specific calendars, filter which types of events appear, and hide individual events—all to keep your workspace focused on what matters most.
Sync Multiple Calendars
If you have events across multiple calendars, Fellow can sync them all so you can take notes for each event within Fellow.
Before you begin: Make sure your calendar type is supported by Fellow. Learn more about supported calendar types.
How to sync multiple calendars
Click on your company's logo in the top left corner to open User Settings
Go to the Preferences tab
Scroll down to Calendar Settings
Check the boxes for the calendars you want to sync with Fellow
Uncheck the boxes for calendars you want to exclude
If a calendar doesn't appear in the list, click the Refresh list button. If it still doesn't appear after refreshing, verify it meets the criteria for syncing with Fellow or contact support.
Note: By default, Fellow syncs only a single calendar. You'll need to manually select any additional calendars you want to sync.
View your synced calendars
Once synced, view your calendars by clicking on the Meetings section in Fellow. The border colour of each event corresponds to the calendar colour set in Google Calendar or Microsoft 365.
Privacy note: These calendars are only visible to you within Fellow. If someone else has access to your Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 calendar, they'll need to sync it separately in their own Fellow account.
Exclude Calendars from Fellow
You may have calendars you don't want to sync with Fellow, such as personal calendars or calendars used primarily for tasks and time blocking.
How to exclude calendars
Click on your company's logo in the top left corner to open User Settings
Go to the Preferences tab
Scroll down to Calendar Settings
Uncheck the boxes for calendars you want to exclude from Fellow
By unchecking a calendar, events from that calendar will no longer appear in your Fellow workspace.
Filter Which Events Appear in Your Calendar
Not all calendar events need to appear in Fellow. Event filtering lets you customize which types of events are visible, helping you eliminate noise and focus on meetings that benefit from agendas and notes.
What is event filtering?
Event filtering enables you to choose which types of calendar events show in Fellow. Events that appear in your Fellow calendar will be synced to meeting notes. You can use filtering to hide events like "Lunch", "Busy", "Out of Office", and more.
Event filters can be changed at any time and are not permanent.
Where to enable or disable filters
Note: Filtering options differ between Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar, so your interface may look slightly different than the screenshots shown.
Option 1: In the Meetings panel
Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the Meetings panel
Click View settings
Check or uncheck the filters you want to enable or disable
To filter by keyword, click Filter meetings by keyword and enter keywords separated by commas (for example, "Lunch" to hide all events with "Lunch" in the title)
Option 2: In Calendar Settings
Click on your company's logo to open User Settings
Click Preferences and scroll to the Meeting visibility section
Check or uncheck the filters you want to enable or disable
Enter any keywords for custom event filtering
