Fellow lets you import tasks from ClickUp, Jira, Linear, monday.com, Microsoft To Do, and Trello into any meeting note - keeping everything in one place during your meeting.

How to import a task

The steps are the same across all supported tools:

  1. In your meeting note, type / to open the slash menu

  2. Select your tool from the dropdown

  3. Enter the task identifier for your tool (see the table below)

  4. Click Import to bring that task into your note as a Fellow action item

Finding your task identifier

Each tool uses a slightly different method to identify tasks. Here's how to find the right one:

Tool

What to enter

How to find it

ClickUp

Task ID (numbers only)

Click the β‹― menu on a task β†’ Copy ID, or copy it from the task URL

Jira

Issue URL or issue key

Copy the URL from the issue page, or use the issue key (e.g. PROJ-123)

Linear

Issue URL or issue ID

Copy the URL from the issue page, or use the issue ID from Linear

monday.com

Item URL

Click β‹― on the item β†’ Copy item link

Trello

Card name

Search for the card name directly in the Fellow import modal

ClickUp tip: The task ID should contain numbers only. Remove the # if it appears at the start - leaving it in will keep the Import button greyed out and prevent the task from loading.

What gets imported

Once imported, the task appears as an action item in your meeting note, linked back to the original task in your project management tool. Any updates made to the task in Fellow will sync back to the source tool.
