Embed media into a Fellow note

Add interactive content directly to your meeting notes

Embedded media lets you insert content from YouTube, Miro, Figma, Vimeo, Loom, Google Workspace, Spotify, and more directly into your Fellow notes. Keep everything in one place instead of switching between different services during meetings.

Note: this is a Team plan and above feature.

What does it mean to "embed media" into a Fellow note?

Embedded media lets you bring content from your favorite tools directly into Fellow notes - no more jumping between tabs during meetings. When you embed media into a Fellow note, the content appears directly in the body of your note and you can interact with it just like you would on the original platform. Watch YouTube videos, collaborate on Miro boards, or play Spotify playlists without ever leaving Fellow.

Supported Services and Media Types

Fellow currently supports these platforms:

  • YouTube: Videos

  • Vimeo: Videos

  • Loom: Videos

Manage Embedded Media

Minimize or collapse media

To make embedded content smaller without removing it:

  1. Click the downward arrow next to the title of the embedded media

  2. The media will collapse into a single line

  3. Click the arrow again to expand it

Delete embedded media

To fully remove embedded media from a note:

  1. Click the three dots menu at the end of the title row

  2. Select Delete embed

  3. The media will be removed from the note

If you want to add the media back later, simply paste the link into the note again.

Troubleshooting

Why is my link not being embedded?

If your link isn't embedding automatically, check these common issues:

The link is already embedded

If the link is already in your note, it won't embed automatically a second time. Use the slash menu method to embed a duplicate if needed.

The link has an error

The link might point to content that doesn't exist. Test by copying the link directly into your browser to see if it works.

You don't have permission

You might not be signed into your account or may not have permission to access the file. The content might be private or only accessible by specific users.

The service isn't supported yet

Fellow currently only supports the platforms listed above. If you'd like Fellow to support another service or platform, contact support with your suggestion.

You're on the free plan

Embedded media is a Team Plan feature. If you're on the free plan, you won't be able to embed media into your notes.
