How can I only pay for my team?

Options for upgrading just your immediate team, not your whole organization

Fellow is designed to work best when your whole organization is on the same workspace, but that's not always practical. If you want to upgrade Fellow for just your immediate team, there are two options depending on your role in the workspace.

Note: subscriptions are done at a workspace level so any enabled seats within your workspace contribute to your overall billing count. Please view How is My Bill Calculated? for more information.

Option 1: Disable users you don't want to pay for (recommended for admins)

If you're a workspace administrator, you can disable the users who aren't on your direct team. Disabled users are not counted toward your paid seat total, so you'll only be charged for the users who remain enabled.

Important: Disabled users will lose access to your workspace, but none of their data is deleted. They can also create or join a different workspace at any time.

To disable users, go to Workspace Settings > Manage Users. For full instructions, see how to add and remove users.

Option 2: Create a new workspace for your team (for non-admins)

If you're not a workspace administrator and can't manage user access on your current workspace, you can create a new workspace and invite just your team to it.

Fellow supports belonging to multiple workspaces at the same time, so your team members won't lose access to notes or meetings on the original workspace - they'll simply have access to both.

To get started, see how to create a new workspace.
