Fellow Browser Extensions: Chrome and Firefox

Add Fellow to your browser

Fellow's browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox connect your meeting workspace directly to the tools you use every day. Instead of switching between tabs to find your agenda or video call link, everything you need is available right where you need it, in Google Meet and Google Calendar.

You can install the extension for Google Chrome or Firefox.

Tip: If your team uses Google Chrome, you can automatically install the Fellow Chrome Extension for all users in your workspace. Learn how to deploy the extension to your workspace here!

What the Browser Extension Can Do

Collaborate on meeting notes in Google Meet

When you join a Google Meet call, the Fellow note overlay automatically appears on the right side of your screen. You can type, format, and collaborate on your meeting notes without ever leaving the call, just like you would in the Fellow browser app.

Try it: Join a Google Meet call and look for the Fellow overlay on the right side of your screen. If you'd like to collapse it, select the Fellow logo on the left-hand side of the overlay.

Stay on top of action items in Google Calendar

The extension adds helpful indicators and quick links directly to your Google Calendar:

  • Open Meeting Agenda / Add Fellow to this meeting: A button appears in each Google Calendar event description, giving you quick access to start writing or reading notes for that meeting.

  • Action item indicators: Red icons appear on your calendar on the day an action item is due and on any meeting where you have action items assigned to you. This gives you an at-a-glance reminder of what needs to get done before each meeting.

  • Add action items on the fly: Click the Fellow icon in your calendar to add a new action item directly from Google Calendar, without opening Fellow separately.

Note: If you'd prefer not to see action item indicators on your calendar, you can turn this off in Fellow. Go to Settings β†’ Notifications and scroll to the bottom to disable the calendar icon feature. The rest of the extension will continue to work normally. Access Fellow quickly with the tray app

You can pin the Fellow extension to your Chrome or Firefox toolbar for fast access at any time. Click the Fellow extension icon in your browser toolbar to open the Fellow Tray App, where you can:

  • View your upcoming schedule

  • Access meeting notes

  • Manage your action items
