Troubleshooting Fellow Chrome Extension

Fix login and loading issues with the Fellow browser extension

If the Fellow Chrome extension has stopped working - for example, it won't let you log in or isn't loading on Google Calendar or Google Meet - the issue is likely related to your browser's cookie settings. Chrome's privacy settings can block the third-party cookies that Fellow needs to function properly.

You can fix this by adding a few URLs to your browser's cookie allowlist. This keeps third-party cookie blocking enabled for everything else while letting Fellow work as expected.

How to Fix It

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data. You can also go directly to chrome://settings/cookies in your address bar.

  2. Confirm that Block third-party cookies is selected. You can keep this setting on - you just need to add a few exceptions.

  3. Scroll to Sites that can always use cookies and add the following URLs:

  4. Go back to the Google Calendar or Google Meet tab where Fellow wasn't loading and refresh the page.

Fellow should now load and work as expected.

Still Having Issues?

If the extension still isn't working after updating your cookie settings, try these additional steps:

  1. Make sure the Fellow extension is enabled by going to chrome://extensions and confirming the toggle is on.

  2. Remove and reinstall the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

  3. Clear your browser cache by going to Settings > Privacy and Security > Delete browsing data, selecting Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, then clicking Delete data.

If the issue persists after trying all of the above, reach out to Fellow's support team for further help.
