Connecting your Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 calendar to Fellow is what allows the two tools to work together. Once connected, your meetings appear directly in Fellow, your notes stay organised by event, and features like carry-forward and private notes become available. This article explains how the integration works, what it means for your privacy, and how to re-sync if needed.
How It Works
Meetings
When you open your calendar page in Fellow, you will see all of your upcoming and past meetings in a condensed version of your calendar on the left. Simply click on a calendar event to open the corresponding note.
For recurring meetings, all past notes appear together in one continuous note series, so you can scroll down to view full history of that meeting in one place.

Privacy and Security
When you connect your calendar to Fellow, only you can see your full calendar. Other meeting attendees can see notes for events they were invited to, but they cannot see any events or notes they were not part of. For more details and specific examples, see who can see my notes and calendar.
Fellow takes security seriously and follows industry best practices to keep your data safe. This includes SOC 2 Type II compliance, server-level firewalls and encryption, and intrusion detection systems. For a full overview, see Fellow's security and compliance practices.
How to re-sync your calendar to Fellow
Fellow syncs with your external Google or Microsoft 365 calendar automatically in three ways: when you first open the meetings tab, daily at 5:20 PM EST, and when you trigger a manual sync.
To manually sync your calendar:
Go to the meetings calendar page in Fellow
Click the sync button at the bottom of the page
Wait a few seconds. When the sync is complete, the spinning icon will stop and display the time of the last successful sync. A grey notification will also appear at the bottom of the window.
