Within the favorites section in Fellow, you can create your own custom groups to organize your note series in a way that works for you. This article covers how to create, organize, rename, and delete custom groups.
Finding your favorites panel
Your Favorites and custom groups are accessible directly from the title bar at the top of the app via the star icon:
Create custom groups
To add a new custom group for any note series:
Click on the star icon on the title bar
Click the ⋯ (more options) menu on the right side of any of the existing groups
Select new group
Enter the group name and select an icon
Click Create, and the new group will appear at the top
You can also create a new custom group directly from a note series:
Click the ⋯ (more options) menu at the top right corner of the note
Select Settings > Details
3. Click on Add to favorites
4. Select Create new group
5. Enter the group name and select an icon.
6. Click Create. The new group will now appear in the favorites panel at the very top, and that note series will automatically appear in that group.
Organize your note series
Move a note series to a group
There are two ways to move a note series into a custom group
Option 1: From the favorites panel
Hover over the note series in the favorites panel.
Click on the three dots at the end of the tile.
Select which group you would like it to move to.
Option 2: Drag and Drop
Find the note series in the favorites panel.
Click and drag it to the group you'd like to move it to, then release
Remove a note series from the favorites panel
Removing a note series from the favorites panel hides it from view but does not delete it, and you can still find it at any time using the search functionality.
Option 1: From the note series:
Open the note series you want to remove
Click the ⋯ (more options) menu at the top right corner of the note
Select Settings > Details
Click on the group and select Remove from home panel
Option 2: From the favorites panel
Find the note series in your favorites panel
Click the ⋯ menu that appears at the end of the tile
Then click Remove from group
Rename or delete custom groups
Find the group in your favorites panel and click on the triple-dot menu at the end of the tile. Select Rename or Delete
Any note series or tags that are within the deleted group will not be affected. They will still be accessible via search.
