Deleting your Workspace

Permanently remove your Fellow workspace and all associated data.

Looking to delete your Fellow workspace? This article walks you through your options depending on how many users are on your account, what happens after deletion, and how to export your data beforehand.

How to delete your Fellow workspace

There are two ways to delete your workspace, depending on how many users are on it:

  1. Single user: You can delete your workspace directly through your settings.

  2. Multiple users: You'll need to contact the Fellow support team.

Option 1: Self-serve deletion for single-user workspaces

  1. Click on your workspace logo, then select User Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Profile section and scroll to the bottom of the page.

  3. Click Delete Account.

  4. Complete the confirmation steps:

    1. Select a reason for deletion.

    2. Type "delete" in the text field.

    3. Check the box to confirm deletion of your user account and workspace.

  5. A notice will confirm that your account and workspace will be permanently deleted within 72 hours.

  6. You'll receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Changed your mind? If you decide within the 72-hour window that you'd like to keep your account, select Cancel Deletion to stop the process and resume using Fellow.

Option 2: Request deletion for multi-user workspaces

  1. Notify all workspace members of the upcoming deletion.

  2. Export any information you or your team would like to keep β€” set a deadline for all members to complete their exports.

  3. Contact the support team via the Intercom chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of Fellow, or email [email protected]. Include the following in your message:

    • Confirmation that you'd like the entire workspace deleted (not just your user account).

    • The name of the workspace to be deleted.

    • Your reason for deleting (feedback is always appreciated!).

    • Confirmation that all workspace members are aware of the pending deletion.

What happens when your workspace is deleted

All data and content are permanently removed from Fellow's database. The deletion process takes up to 72 hours. Once complete, the information cannot be restored.
