Accessing Fellow as a Guest User

Get up and running in Fellow as an external collaborator

Guest users such as investors, contractors, or clients can access Fellow meeting notes without needing a full Fellow account. This article walks you through what to expect the first time you're invited, and how to return to your shared notes for future meetings.

Getting started

Accepting your first invitation

When a Fellow user shares a note series with you, you'll receive an email from Fellow notifying you that meeting notes have been shared. A note series is a collection of related meeting notes, in this case, the notes for your upcoming meeting.

  1. Open the invitation email from Fellow in your inbox.

  2. Click the View button in the email.

  3. You'll be taken directly to the shared meeting note: no account setup required.

Returning for future meetings

Using the workspace URL that you were invited to, you can log in at any time to review your notes or prepare for upcoming meetings. Guest users do not sync their calendars with Fellow so you will only be able to see notes that you have been shared on.

Alternatively, you can log in via the reminder email that is sent from Fellow before each subsequent meeting so you can stay up to date.

  1. Open the reminder email from Fellow.

  2. Click the View meeting button.

  3. You'll land on the current meeting note, where you can scroll down to review notes from previous meetings in the series.
