The Zoom Admin App allows the Fellow Note Taker to join and record any Zoom meeting hosted by your organization - without waiting room delays or recording permission prompts. Once connected, the integration applies to all meetings hosted under your organization's Zoom account.
Note: This integration can only be set up by a Zoom account admin. Only one Admin App can be connected per Fellow workspace.
What is the Zoom Admin App?
Without the Zoom Admin App, the Note Taker may need to be admitted from the waiting room and granted recording permission each time it joins a call. The Admin App removes these friction points by giving Fellow the access it needs at the account level, so recordings can start seamlessly.
How to install the Zoom Admin App
Go to Workspace Settings > Integrations. Scroll to the Other section and click on the Zoom Admin App card.
Click Connect in the top right corner.
A Zoom authorization screen will appear in your browser. Click Allow to grant Fellow access to the required account-level data.
Once connected, the integration status will update to confirm the setup is complete.
How to use the Zoom Admin App
No additional setup is needed after connecting. The Note Taker will automatically join and record Zoom meetings hosted by your organization. Start a recording for any Zoom meeting hosted under your account, and Fellow will handle the rest.

Removing the Zoom Admin App
Go to Workspace Settings > Integrations. Scroll to the Other section and click the Zoom Admin App card.
Click More actions in the top right corner, then select Disconnect.
Click Disconnect in the confirmation modal.
A confirmation message will appear confirming the app has been disconnected.
Once disconnected, the Note Taker will no longer be able to bypass waiting rooms or recording permission prompts for your organization's Zoom meetings.
Note: Disconnecting the Admin App does not affect any individual Zoom User integrations that your teammates may have set up on their own accounts.
