Fellow's Note Taker can learn your company's specific language - product names, internal acronyms, industry jargon, and more. Adding these terms improves the accuracy of your transcriptions, meeting recaps, and AI insights so they consistently reflect your conversations. This article explains what Custom Vocabulary does and how to add terms at both the workspace and user level.
Available on all paid plans. Custom Vocabulary is not available on the free plan.
English only. Custom Vocabulary currently applies to meetings that took place in English only.
What Custom Vocabulary does
Custom Vocabulary words are prioritized during transcription so the Note Taker spells and identifies your terms correctly. This is especially useful for teams with industry-specific terminology or internal acronyms that standard transcription may not recognize on its own.
Your workspace name, calendar attendees, and speaker names are automatically factored into transcription. Custom Vocabulary is for any additional terms beyond those.
Custom words are applied to AI transcription, summaries, and insights - for both bot-based and botless recordings.
How to add Custom Vocabulary
You can add Custom Vocabulary at two levels: across your entire workspace, or just for your own account.

At a user level
User-level terms apply to transcription for your account only and do not affect the rest of your workspace.

Add the words or phrases you'd like to include.
